Privacy Policy
GrantPulse is a small matching service for U.S. federal grant opportunities. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you keep over it.
Data we collect
When you create a GrantPulse profile we store the basics: an email address, a organization name, an EIN or DUNS if you choose to add one, the program areas and funding amounts you want to be matched against, and short free-text notes you attach to a profile field. We also store the matches we have shown you and the ones you have saved or marked as applied.
We log a minimal set of operational events (sign-in, profile edit, save, mark applied) so you can see your own activity and so we can debug issues. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with advertisers or third-party data brokers.
How we use it
Profile data is used to score inbound grant opportunities, surface them in your ranking, and produce the personalized daily digest if you have a paid plan. Operative events power features like the “last viewed” timestamp on a saved grant. Email is used to deliver the digest and the receipts for your subscription; we do not use it for marketing beyond the digest itself.
Third parties we work with
Grant opportunities come from Grants.gov; we fetch public RSS and API feeds and store each grant’s title, agency, posted date, close date, eligibility notes, and award ceiling on our side for ranking. GrantPulse also uses Stripe to bill Pro subscriptions — Stripe stores your card information, not us; we only see the last four digits and the brand your card was issued under.
We do not embed third-party analytics, ad pixels, or session-replay scripts in the app.
Your rights
You can update your profile fields in place at any time, and you can delete every profile field, saved grant, and applied marker from the Account page; deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you would like a copy of the data we hold on you, email us at grantpulse-9@polsia.app and we will export it for you within thirty days.
Updates to this policy
If we make a material change — adding a new third party or expanding the categories of data we store — we will announce it in the in-app digest and on this page before it takes effect. The date below shows the last revision.
